If your dishwashers does not fill then please check to see if the water taps at the back of your dishwasher are turned on, and that the pipes are also not squashed or kinked.
In order to be able to fill, it must firstly be able to drain. Please see the issue below “My dishwasher wont empty” for more advice on plumbing drainage.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224
Please check to see if your waste hose has been installed correctly. If your dishwashers empties into an under-sink waste system, then please ensure that the capped end of the waste spigot is removed. Please also check to see if the filter at the bottom of the dishwashers is free from any blockages and is clean.
Check that the pipe has not been kinked or even trapped somewhere, as any of these two can result in the waste water failing to empty out of the dishwashers correctly.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224
If you are finding there is a smell coming from your dishwashers, then we recommend running your empty dishwashers on the hottest setting you can, using our Limescale and Detergent Remover which will hygienically clean your appliance and will also stop the smell from reoccurring. We recommend that you carry out the above, once a month to maintain it.
For further information on our Limescale and Detergent Remover, click here or call our Whirlpool parts team on 0344 822 4224.
Pots and pans can become rusty or brown when they are cleaned in the dishwashers.
Rust can also spread onto other items like the tub of your dishwashers or other cutlery. We would recommend that you refrain from washing pots and pans that are made from cast iron in the dishwashers.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224.
If you are noticing, that at the end of a wash cycle, your dishes and / or glasses are appearing to be cloudy or white, then this could be due to a possible deposit of calcium. We recommend that you use our dishwasher salt. This salt, improves wash performance and at the same time protects your dishwasher.
For more information on our range of products, click here – or call the Whirlpool parts team on 0344 822 4224.
Check that the socket your Whirlpool dishwashers is connected to is live by plugging in and testing another piece of equipment such as a radio.
Your Whirlpool dishwashers comes fitted with a 13 amp plug and lead, please ensure that the correct rating of fuse is being used. If you are using an extension lead you might want to try testing your machine with a different one.
Always ensure that your on/off or start switch is in the correct position and that the door is closed firmly at the 3 o’clock position.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224.
Droplets of water or moisture in the inner base of your appliance are usually due to there being a blocked gutter on the rear inner wall, it could also be due to items touching the back wall on the appliance.
Please clear anything that may be obstructing the gutter outlet. You can do this by using a drinking straw or a pipe cleaner. Once done, use a mop to clean up the base. This should then rectify the issue. If you need further help on how to do this, please refer to your manual.
If you do not have your manual, you can download manuals, or please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224
How often you defrost your freezers depends on the model of your appliance. We recommend defrosting your freezer when the ice is around 3-5mm thick.
Please check below to help give you some indication, but also refer to your user instructions for further advice. If you need a replacement user manual, then please click here.
We recommend the following:
Small fridge with freezer box – Defrost every two weeks
Iced diamond fridge/freezer – Defrost the freezer every 6 months
Iced diamond single freezer – Defrost the freezer every 6 months
Other freezer types and models – Whenever the ice gets to 3-4mmm thick.
Frost-free appliances – These appliances do not need to be defrosted.
For further advice or please call our customer service team one 0344 822 4224.
Little amounts of frost can appear on the fronts of baskets if the door of the appliance is accidentally left open.
Please avoid leaving the doors open for any length of time which is longer than necessary. Also try to cover your liquids and foods with a bag or plastic container.
Please also make use of the ice cube tray that comes with your appliance, this is fitted with a lid, which keeps the moisture for entering.
If you require further help please call us on 0344 822 4224.
It isn’t uncommon for there to be a noise coming from your freezers, this is more likely to happen when the appliance is new.
A loud crackling sound from inside your freezers can normally be down to the build up of frost in your internal components.
Below are some causes for noise:
• The compressor / pump motor – This is normal
• The pipe is vibrating against a wall – Please check the positioning of the pipe
• There is circulation of gas around the pipes – This is normal
• Cracking sound – air movement – This is normal
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224
Your Whirlpool freezers is designed to achieve lower operating temperatures so it will appear to run for longer than an adjacent refrigerator.
It will run for as long as is required to achieve the correct operational conditions whilst consuming the minimum of energy during this process.
Below are a few reasons why your Whirlpool freezers may appear to run for longer:
• Position – Is it near a heat source i.e. cooker, window, and heater or is it the time of year?
• Ventilation – Is there enough air circulation around the cabinet exterior – Check the position.
The freezer must achieve -18C to be safe. The lower the temperature, the longer the appliance will run. Try adjusting the thermostat.
If you need further assistance please call Whirlpool customer service on 0344 822 4224
Your frost free freezers uses a number of external and internal fans during the time it operates, so there can be a rise in noises during this time. This is normal, so please do not worry if you are hearing different noises, compared to the noises that your old freezers made, especially if that noise is a crackling noise.
Your freezer does defrost itself at least once a day, when this happens, ice melts.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224
When your appliance auto defrosts itself, it produces melted water and goes into a water collection point. This is located at the back of your appliance, just above where the compressor is. During daiuly usage, the compresser becomes warm, so with that in mind, the water evaporates.
If the water collection point container becomes contaminated with foreign bodies or with spillages from the appliance itself, we would reccommend using our sanitising fridge cleaner. All you need to do is spray it on to any internal or external parts of your appliance and simply wipe away.
This cleaner is avaiable at parts.hotpoint.co.uk or by calling our parts department on 0344 822 4224.
When your appliance is new, you sometimes discover that your appliance is feeling slightly unstable.
Please check firstly to see that all 4 leg’s are firmly on the floor. If your appliance isnt level with the floor, you may find this is the reason for the increase in noise levels. You may also see that with the taller range of freezers, that not leveling the legs will make it seem that the doors of your appliance have dropped to one side.
To level the appliance effectively, we recommend you enlist the help of a second person, who can help hold the appliance whilst you lift and adjust the feet to the correct level once again.
To fix a dropped door issue, we reccommend you lengthen the foot which is on the hinged side of the appliance, once complete, leave the appliance for a day or two, this should dissappear by then.
If you require further help please call us on 0344 822 4224.
We do not recommend the stacking of cooling appliances on top of each other. As they are not built to be suitable for this purpose.
If you would like to stack appliances, you would need to purchase a product that is built and designed to save space, such as fridge freezer.
If you require further help please call us on 0344 822 4224.
If you would like to reverse the doors on your freezers, then the instructions to do so including diagrams are in the user manual that came with your appliance. If you want to book a door reversal with an engineer then please call us on 0344 822 4224.. Please be aware that a charge will be applied for this service.

Most appliances do have a holiday mode button. This is designed to be used after you have emptied the contents of your appliance and are going to be away from the house / appliance for a number of days or weeks.
During this period, and once on this setting, your appliance will run on the bare minimum amount of temperature needed to still function, this also dissconnects the cooling apparatus within your fridge.
If we are to assume that you are away from your appliance for a short period of time, and your doors are shut, the energy consumption will be much lower.
Please do not use the holiday function unless the fridge is empty, as if you do select it when there are items inside, you will; result in food loss.
If you require further help please call us on 0344 822 4224.

Most of our modern Whirlpool appliances are fitted with a cooling fan to prevent the controls getting too hot. The fan can run for up to 30 minutes after the oven has been switched off for safety reasons. During this period the fan may switch off and on, this is perfectly normal.
If you need further assistance please call Whirlpool customer service on 0344 822 4224
Customers changing from a conventional oven to a modern fan assisted oven may find that they need to reduce cooking temperatures by approximately 25 degrees centigrade and cooking times by approximately 10 minutes in every hour.
We recommend you centralising your food and always place food upon a shelf, not directly onto the oven base itself, to enable the heat to be circulated around the entire surface of the cooking vessel.
This is particularly important in a top oven as the grill elements are used in conjunction with top oven cooking apparatus to deliver heat from above and below the food.
Pans with high sides may affect the cooking performance due to airflow.
If you need further assistance please call Whirlpool customer service on 0344 822 4224
Should one or more of the gas cooker rings not ignite, we recommend you check that the burners themselves are free from fibre or strands of a cleaning pad, simply remove the burner caps and wipe around the burner rings with a dry lint free cloth then re-try.
If you have a glass lid fitted to your Whirlpool appliance, ensure that it is fully upright and free from any obstructions as either of these conditions will result in the gas supply to the hotplates being shut off until the problem is resolved.
If the problem persists, ensure that the batteries (where fitted) are new, or if the Whirlpool cooker/hob has a plug, check the socket is working and try a new fuse.
If you need further assistance please call Whirlpool customer service on 0344 822 4224
Full installation instructions are included in all the customer manual booklets. Always refer to these instructions for installation requirements. Should you not have access to your user manual you can download a copy [site:manuals].
Alternatively you can also use our contact us section for more information.
If you need further assistance please call Whirlpool customer service on 0344 822 4224

If you need further assistance please call Whirlpool customer service on 0344 822 4224
Because of the dense materials used in the manufacture of Whirlpool solid hotplates they can often feel warm long after the Hotpoint hob top has been switched off.
This is a perfectly normal characteristic of solid hotplates which work in a slightly different manner to other types of electric heating elements.
If you need further assistance please call Customer service on 0344 822 4224
Unlike conventional electric hobs induction hobs do not work by directly heating the glass surface from underneath. The cooking vessel itself is the heating element. Heat is produced directly inside the pan, provided it is made from a ferromagnetic material, i.e. iron or steel. Because of this it is extremely important to use the correct pans.
Ease of use
The beauty of Whirlpool induction hobs is that each plate can be controlled independently of its surrounding hotplates, for a fixed period at whatever temperature level the user requires.
Safety
After cooking, the surface of any hob can get hot as heat is transferred from the cooking vessel back onto the hob glass. For your safety, our induction hobs have a residual heat indicator, which will be displayed (normally by a letter H adjacent to the heating zone selection key) until the hob temperature is below 60 degrees centigrade.
Setting | Use |

Your Whirlpool integrated fridge freezers is designed to achieve lower operating temperatures so it will appear to run for longer than an adjacent refrigerator.
It will run for as long as is required to achieve the correct operational conditions whilst consuming the minimum of energy during this process.
Below are a few reasons why your Whirlpool integrated fridge freezers may appear to run for longer:
• Position – Is it near a heat source i.e. cooker, window, and heater or is it the time of year?
• Ventilation – Is there enough air circulation around the cabinet exterior – Check the position.
The freezer must achieve -18C to be safe. The lower the temperature, the longer the appliance will run. Try adjusting the thermostat.

When your appliance auto defrosts itself, it produces melted water and goes into a water collection point. This is located at the back of your appliance, just above where the compressor is. During daiuly usage, the compresser becomes warm, so with that in mind, the water evaporates.

If your Hotpoint washer dryer has a “set and forget” auto drying feature and you are having problems getting the drying process to operate, it could be attributed to a number of non mechanical faults. We recommend the following:
Ensure that you are loading the Hotpoint washer dryer correctly, as putting in an undersized load will result in the sensing mechanism cutting off the drying process prematurely.
Ensure that you are not attempting to use a programme that is designed merely as a short drying process utilising very low temperatures such as in the case of the easy iron and easy care functions.
Ensure that the sensors in the drum are kept clean and free from grease and dirt by wiping with a dry cloth.
If you need further assistance please call Hotpoint customer service on 0370 218 6615
On certain Whirlpool models the dryer programmer does not rotate. Instead, a series of progress indicator lights illuminate to advise the user of the dryers status.
If you need further assistance please call Whirlpool customer service on 0370 218 6615
Certain Whirlpool models have an added crease care facility. Crease care is activated when the appliance has finished its cycle and the clothes are then tumbled in cool air which protects them from creasing and reduces ironing times. The crease care option will keep tumbling the clothes intermittently until the programme dial is manually advanced to the off position.
If you need further assistance please call Hotpoint customer service on 03448 224 224
Whirlpool tumble dryers are designed to be fitted onto the top of some of our Whirlpool washing machines. This stacking process must only be completed using one of our genuine stacking kits.

If you find that your Hotpoint Condenser dryer is taking a long time to dry then this could be due to a build up of fluff in the condenser.
The condenser is found at the bottom of your appliance. Simply take this out by grasping the bottom cover by the ides and pull it off gently towards you. Remove the condenser by rotating the clips, then pulling the condenser towards you. Run the body of the condenser under a cold water tap to remove and build up. Refit the condenser and use as normal.
We recommend that in order to keep your machine working efficiently, you regularly clean the filter and condenser.
If you need further assistance please call Hotpoint customer service on 0370 218 6615
To clean your Hotpoint dryer filter simply open the door of your appliance and look for the fluff filter (located in the bottom of your door opening).
Pull out the filter and clean the fluff build up. If there is a large quantity of fluff you may use a vacuum cleaner to remove this.
We recommend you clean this filter out each time you use your dryer to ensure your machine works efficiently.
For further advice we recommend checking your user manual – you can also download your user manual here.
If you need further assistance please call Hotpoint customer service on 0370 218 6615
Failure to empty the water container can result in your Hotpoint machine not heating (your clothes may still be wet at the end of the drying cycle).
To empty your water container, simply pull the container out towards you and remove it fully from the dryer.
Empty all the water collected, then refit the water container, ensuring that it is pushed fully back into position.
For further advice we recommend checking your user manual – you can also download your user manual here.

There are various reasons that could cause your clothes washing machine to smell. The most widely recognised causes are:
Consistent washing at low temperatures – bacteria and undissolved detergents can develop, making your machine smell.
We recommend running your machine at 90 degrees, with some biological detergent to help crush the development of bacteria and detergents, We also recommend running monthly service wash with our Limescale and Detergent remover, which hygienically cleans your machine, and keep the odour from reoccurring.
You should also check your washing machine drain hose. If it connects to your under sink plumbing then please make sure this is clean and free of blockages. For more help or info on our Limescale and Detergent Remover – click here. If you require further help please call us on 0344 822 4224.
If your washer dryers is noisy and or unstable, and it is the first time you are using it, then it might be possible that installation has not been completed effectively.
To check, ensure the bolts or protective brackets (which is used to trasnport the appliance) have been removed.
If you need further help on how to do this, please refer to your manual. If you do not have your manual, you can download here.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224.
During the manufacturing process, we ensure your washer dryers is thoroughly tested so there is no leaks to internal componants after you have installed your appliance.
If you experience any leaking before or during your first use, it is most likely due to there being water still in the washer dryers from the testing process.
Please also check the water supply connection (from both sides) as well as the drain hose itself.
If you need any further help, please call us on 0344 822 4224.
Newer washer dryers come with indicator lights, these flash to indicate that there might be a possible fault. The most common faults presented are:
Pre wash light flashing
This shows that the washer dryers is not filling correctly. Please check your fill hoses and ensure it is turned on correctly. We also suggest looking to see if there are any blockages, kinks or leaks in the fill hose pipe.
Wash light flashing
This indicates your programme dial has been moved or adjusted from its original position. To correct this issue, simply move the wash dial to its original position. By doing this it will restore the light to its original status.
Spin light flashing
Indicates that the Whirlpool washer dryers has considered the wash load to be excessive or unbalanced. We would recommend removing the clothes, redistributing the load evenly and retry the spin cycle to resolve this.
End light flashing
Indicates that the Whirlpool washer dryers has reached the end of a wash programme. If the wash, rinse and spin function lights all flash at the same time, this would indicate a possible blockage in your filter or waste / drain pipe.
If you do not have your manual, you can download it here.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224.
For the perfect wash results, you need to ensure you select the right wash programme, and also the correct amount of detergent.
Please also try not to overload your washer dryers as this can produce poor results in your wash as the detergent will not be able to effectively dissolve. Try to rewash your clothes on the right programme, making sure that the right amount of detergent is used.
If the items of clothing are heavily soiled, then do not use the quick wash or ecomony wash option is not used.
You may also need to use a pre wash option beforehand to ensure you ge the best wash results.
For further advice please check your user manual. If you do not have your manual, you can download it here. If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224.
Please check the socket that your appliance was plugged in in by using another piece of equipment, this will ensure that the issue does not lie with the socket rather than the appliance itself.
Your washer dryers comes fitted with a 13 amp 3 pin plug and also the lead, so please make sure that the right rating of fuse is being used with this.
We do not recommend the use of the appliance with an extension lead.
Please also ensure that the start or on/off switch is in the correct position, and that the door is properly closed.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224.
Newer washer dryers are designed to use less water, which results in the clothes being laundered more (a longer wash cycle). Please check your manual for approx programme times. This can be downloaded here.
It could also be the case that the system that detects the load size has noticed an imbalance. The machine then tries to correct this by redistributing the load during its wash cycle.
To prevent this from happening we recommend you wash smaller and larger items together. All of our washing machines are designed to give you the optimum wash results and at the same time also reducing impact on the environment by using the minimum amount of water needed as well as energy.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224.
If your machine empties in the waste sytem which is located under your sink, please make sure that the connection to the sink plumbing is clear from any blockages. This includes: build up of fat or food deposits. Please also check that the drain hose is not bent, kinked or blocked, as this can prevent water draining from your machine.
If your machine empties into a standpipe, please ensure that the hose is not being pushed in by more than 4 inches.
As a last check, please see if the “rinse hold” or “crease care” options are not being selected, as by using either of these options, will result in the washing machine being held in the final rinse state programme.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224.
If you suspect that your washer dryer is not as efficient as it used to be you need to be checking a series of non mechanical problems. We recommend the following:
Ensure that the vent hose is not blocked or crushed.
Ensure that your Whirlpool washer dryer is not being overfilled with clothing as this will impair the performance.
Double check the heat switch on your dryer is set to the appropriate position.
If you need further assistance please call Hotpoint customer service on 03448 224 224
If your Hotpoint washer dryer has a “set and forget” auto drying feature and you are having problems getting the drying process to operate, it could be attributed to a number of non mechanical faults.

Please check to see if the cold water supply to your appliance is switched on. This is common when your appliance is failing to fill when the cycle is on rinse. This can stop your machine mid cycle.
On newer model washing machines, this can be indicated to show there is an issue with the water supply by either a flashing light or a tap symbol.
In some cases, the drain hose not being positioned at the right height correctly can also lead to problems of your appliance stopping mid cycle. If you need further help on how to do this, please refer to your manual. If you do not have your manual, you can download here.

Please be aware that in the instance of fabric conditioner or water still remaining in the conditioner compartment at the end of a wash cycle, is quite normal.
If your washing machines isn’t removing the conditioner from the compartment, it is possible that there is a blockage in the detergent dispenser.
Please remove the drawer and clean it with hot soapy water, this should remove any blockages. After doing so, please re try washing again. It is a possibility that the blockage was due to the unused conditioner.
Please also be aware that some concentrated conditioners require being diluted with water before the start of the programme.
Please also check that the feet of the appliance are level and that the machine is not too low from the front as this imbalance could prevent the conditioner from being rinsed away.
If you require further help please call us on 0344 822 4224.

Your machine, comes with a built in feature, this feature prevents the appliance spinning on an imbalanced load.
The appliance does try to redistribute this load, but, if it remains unstable, the spin process would be aborted. This prolongs the life of your appliance as well as minimising the vibration.
Newer model machines come with a “final spin” indicator light, this light when flashing, signals to let you know that your wash load is unbalanced.
On other models, this is apparent when you remove your clothing and they are still soaking wet. If this happens, we reccommend redistributing your clothes by removing some, this should even the load out. Once done, please reselect a spin programme.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224.

If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224.
If you are noticing, that at the end of a wash cycle, your dishes and / or glasses are appearing to be cloudy or white, then this could be due to a possible deposit of calcium.

Other freezer types and models – Whenever the ice gets to 3-4mmm thick.

As the cold air falls and warm air rises, please place dairy products in the designated dairy compartments, which are at the base of the inside door.
This is the coldest part of the appliance, so keeping items there will help in keeping your items fresh for as long possible.
Please avoid putting dairy and perishable items on the mid or top end of the fridge, as this shortens the life of product.
If you do have any queries or concerns about the running temperatures of your appliance, you can purchase a fridge thermometer through our parts team on 0344 822 5225 or you can order online here.
Once you have a thermometer, we recommend you place it on the mid section of your fridge, leave it overnight and look at the readings the next day, be careful not to move the thermometer from its overnight position when looking at the readings.
If you require further help please call us on 0344 822 4224.
It is extremely important that all dairy items are placed in the dairy comparment of your frost free fridge.

If you require further help please call us on 0344 822 4224.
Your appliance is designed to be able to operate at temperatures ranging from 0.5 degrees in the coldest section and up to 5 degrees in the warmest.
As cold air falls and warm air rises, please store your food in its most appropriate section of the fridge (ie. dairy shelf for dairy products).
If you need to change the temperature (make it cooler), you can adjust the thermostat by a thicker portion or a larger number of the indicator mark. If food is going off a lot quicker than anticipated, please try increase the setting and making it cooler. We would recommend that the fridge is set to number 3 or pointed at the mid way of the indicator line.

In order to keep your ceramic hob looking and working correctly, you must not use glass or copper-bottomed cookware, as this material will damage the surface of your ceramic glass.

Droplets of water or moisture in the inner base of your appliance are usually due to there being a blocked gutter on the rear inner wall, it could also be due to items touching the back wall on the appliance.
Please clear anything that may be obstructing the gutter outlet. You can do this by using a drinking straw or a pipe cleaner. Once done, use a mop to clean up the base. This should then rectify the issue. If you need further help on how to do this, please refer to your manual.
If you do not have your manual, you can download manuals, or please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224
How often you defrost your integrated fridge freezers depends on the model of your appliance.
If your appliance has had a spillage inside of it, please clean it up as soon as possible to avoid a further smell to it which can be caused by a build up of bacteria.
We also recommend the use of our fridge care. Simply spray it on to all internal and external areas, such as salad bins, shelves and drawers, and then wipe away with a damp cloth. This will sanatise, steralise and clean the surfaces. This spray can also be used on normal worktops and surfaces.

It isn’t uncommon for there to be a noise coming from your integrated fridge freezers, this is more likely to happen when the appliance is new.
A loud crackling sound from inside your integrated fridge freezers can normally be down to the build up of frost in your internal components.
Below are some causes for noise:
• The compressor / pump motor – This is normal
• The pipe is vibrating against a wall – Please check the positioning of the pipe
• There is circulation of gas around the pipes – This is normal
• Cracking sound – air movement – This is normal
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224
Your Whirlpool integrated fridge freezers is designed to achieve lower operating temperatures so it will appear to run for longer than an adjacent refrigerator.
If you need further assistance please call Whirlpool customer service on 0344 822 4224
Your frost free integrated fridge freezers uses a number of external and internal fans during the time it operates, so there can be a rise in noises during this time. This is normal, so please do not worry if you are hearing different noises, compared to the noises that your old integrated fridge freezers made, especially if that noise is a crackling noise.
You may also see that with the taller range of integrated fridge freezers, that not leveling the legs will make it seem that the doors of your appliance have dropped to one side.
To comply with DEFRA (The Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) guidelines, Whirlpool freezers are set to operate from -18 and -26 degrees.
When putting in large amounts of food in your freezer, we recommend that beforehand, you turn on the fast freezer button or switch (if your appliance has one) for at least 24 hours before.
If you are unsure on how to do this, please refer back to your user manual for help and guidance. here.
If you require further help please call us on 0344 822 4224.
If there is an amber light flashing on the front of your appliance, it could indicate that the fast freeze button / switch has been selected.
If this was not meant to be selected, please press the button again or reverse the position of the switch to ensure that the appliance is back to its normal operatimg mode.
If you require further help please call us on 0344 822 4224.
If the interior light in your appliance does not go out after the appliance door has been closed in your built in appliance, it is most likely to be becuase the outdoor door decor of your cupboards is not fitted correctly.
This could result in the appliance door not being able to fully close, which will keep the appliance inner light on. Please check to see if the decor on the door is properly and secure.
If you require further help please call us on 0344 822 4224.
Green leaved perishables have a high level of water in them, and not being able to give these items enough air circulation around your vegetable and salad compartments can result in condensation appearing on the underside of the glass shelves.
We would recommend you try to give them a small amount of air circulation but either pulling out the glass shelf slightly (a couple of mm).
If this fails to work and if you need further assistance please call Whirlpool customer service on 0344 822 4224.
Our refridgeration products are created to reach internal temperatures of between 0 and 5 degrees celcius.
Keeping your milk on an upper shelves could both hinder the through put of cooled air around the appliance and also cause the food and milk to freeze as its exposed to air, which is coming from the freezer compartment.

Crease care is activated when the appliance has finished its cycle and the clothes are then tumbled in cool air which protects them from creasing and reduces ironing times. The crease care option will keep tumbling the clothes intermittently until the programme dial is manually advanced to the off position.

During the manufacturing process, we ensure your washing machines is thoroughly tested so there is no leaks to internal componants after you have installed your appliance.
If you experience any leaking before or during your first use, it is most likely due to there being water still in the washing machines from the testing process.
Please also check the water supply connection (from both sides) as well as the drain hose itself.
If you need any further help, please call us on 0344 822 4224.

Newer washing machines come with indicator lights, these flash to indicate that there might be a possible fault. The most common faults presented are:
Pre wash light flashing
This shows that the washing machines is not filling correctly.
Indicates that the Whirlpool washing machines has considered the wash load to be excessive or unbalanced. We would recommend removing the clothes, redistributing the load evenly and retry the spin cycle to resolve this.
End light flashing
Indicates that the Whirlpool washing machines has reached the end of a wash programme. If the wash, rinse and spin function lights all flash at the same time, this would indicate a possible blockage in your filter or waste / drain pipe.

For the perfect wash results, you need to ensure you select the right wash programme, and also the correct amount of detergent.
Please also try not to overload your washing machines as this can produce poor results in your wash as the detergent will not be able to effectively dissolve. Try to rewash your clothes on the right programme, making sure that the right amount of detergent is used.
If the items of clothing are heavily soiled, then do not use the quick wash or ecomony wash option is not used.
You may also need to use a pre wash option beforehand to ensure you ge the best wash results.

Please check the socket that your appliance was plugged in in by using another piece of equipment, this will ensure that the issue does not lie with the socket rather than the appliance itself.
Your washing machines comes fitted with a 13 amp 3 pin plug and also the lead, so please make sure that the right rating of fuse is being used with this.
We do not recommend the use of the appliance with an extension lead.
Please also ensure that the start or on/off switch is in the correct position, and that the door is properly closed.
If you need further help please call our customer service team on 0344 822 4224.
Newer washing machines are designed to use less water, which results in the clothes being laundered more (a longer wash cycle).
