My slimline dishwashers won't fill correctly
If your slimline dishwashers does not fill then please check to see if the water taps at the back of your dishwasher are turned on, and that the pipes are also not squashed or kinked.
In order to be able to fill, it must firstly be able to drain. Please see the issue below “My dishwasher wont empty” for more advice on plumbing drainage.

My slimline dishwashers won't empty correctly
Please check to see if your waste hose has been installed correctly. If your slimline dishwashers empties into an under-sink waste system, then please ensure that the capped end of the waste spigot is removed. Please also check to see if the filter at the bottom of the slimline dishwashers is free from any blockages and is clean.
Check that the pipe has not been kinked or even trapped somewhere, as any of these two can result in the waste water failing to empty out of the slimline dishwashers correctly.

My slimline dishwashers has a smell coming from it
If you are finding there is a smell coming from your slimline dishwashers, then we recommend running your empty slimline dishwashers on the hottest setting you can, using our Limescale and Detergent Remover which will hygienically clean your appliance and will also stop the smell from reoccurring. We recommend that you carry out the above, once a month to maintain it.

My cutlery has become rusty / brown
Pots and pans can become rusty or brown when they are cleaned in the slimline dishwashers.
Rust can also spread onto other items like the tub of your slimline dishwashers or other cutlery. We would recommend that you refrain from washing pots and pans that are made from cast iron in the slimline dishwashers.

My glassware / dishes are being left with white / cloudy marking
If you are noticing, that at the end of a wash cycle, your dishes and / or glasses are appearing to be cloudy or white, then this could be due to a possible deposit of calcium. We recommend that you use our dishwasher salt. This salt, improves wash performance and at the same time protects your dishwasher.

My slimline dishwashers has no electrical power supply
Check that the socket your Whirlpool slimline dishwashers is connected to is live by plugging in and testing another piece of equipment such as a radio.
Your Whirlpool slimline dishwashers comes fitted with a 13 amp plug and lead, please ensure that the correct rating of fuse is being used. If you are using an extension lead you might want to try testing your machine with a different one.
Always ensure that your on/off or start switch is in the correct position and that the door is closed firmly at the 3 o’clock position.
